To the left is an image of a scientific drawing. For this lesson, we went from table to table to draw 4 different objects and our best drawing was the one we used. Then we uploaded our image to an iPad and drew it there. Through this lesson I learned about different techniques of computer art. This piece sort of came of successful but not really. If I were to do this again, I would probably work more with the value of the object.
The image to the right represents the different forced perspectives. This here is a first person perspective because it is straight on some on something. You can get this type of image by standing closer to the camera and then then other person standing farther away. I learned about the different type of perspectives. Also, in order to make this image work, everything has to be lined up exactly right. Next time, I would try to make it more realistic. | |
Another technique that we have worked on is contour lines. I have learned to do the overall shapes such as rectangles and circles and then go back and connect the shapes with smoother lines. Also, working with these contour lines, it helped teach me different techniques on adding value to the pieces. One thing to know is that your eraser is your best friend and you start with the bigger details and then go to the smaller. The next time I will do this, I will work a lot on value and work more on creating a more realistic object. Also, add more detail to different parts.
